The new Karkogel combi-chairlift takes you up to Europe's most exciting summer-tobogganing run where you buckle up and enjoy the fast ride-down.

Anybody interested in trying out something new, can enjoy a huge array of outdoor-activities. Activities include rafting, canyoneering, hang gliding or mountain biking.

Those, who like water combined with a little adventure, then there's nowhere better than Abtenau's open-air pool. Crystal-clear mountain streams will also inspire your thoughts.

Abtenau - Winter

In winter, Abtenau is one of the most beautiful ski resorts for families. The slopes are moderate and perfect for beginners and returners. One of Austrias’s most modern ski lifts has been built in Abtenau. A combination of a six-person chairlift and an eight-person gondola carries up kids and adults to the mountaintop year-round to go skiing, hiking or sledding.

The new floodlight toboggan-run guarantees a lot of fun for the whole family.

You can also get your exercise cross-country skiing on one of the numerous trails.
